If you regularly use command line text editors you might have heard that Microsoft recently released its own open source one, called Edit. Edit is effectively a remake (or reboot, if you’d rather) of the MS-DOS Editor, but updated to suit current sensibilities. It’s built using Rust and offers “modern interface and input controls similar to VS Code”, per the project’s GitHub page.
